The Lé(d)ger series takes its name from Fernand Léger, whose Cubist works explore shifting, multiple perspectives. Seeing Typographer in person at the Met in 2014 revealed the fluid, ever-evolving nature of his painting process—an inspiring reminder to let creativity lead, rather than control it. These works typically involve collaging historical documents such as business ledger books and other high-quality paper artifacts.
