Michael Nicoll Yahgulanaas's sculpture entitled "Yelthadaas," from the Coppers from the Hood series, officially joins the permanent collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City.

The Coppers from the Hood series was inaugurated in 2007 at the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver, Canada. Today, more than a dozen sculptures from this series are held in public and private collections around the globe - the most notable being The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York City and the British Museum, London.
